About the role
The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical components of Piedmont House – a high‑rise residential property – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time position works on‑site, handling resident requests, preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.
Key responsibilities
- Complete assigned work orders generated from resident service requests.
- Perform preventative maintenance across building systems, diagnosing defects and repairing them in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process to ready vacant apartments for leasing, including pre‑move‑out inspections and necessary repairs.
- Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies.
Required profile
- Ability to diagnose building defects and perform repairs according to established policies and safety codes.
- Capability to prepare vacant units for new move‑ins, ensuring they meet quality standards.
