Maintenance Technician – Palomino Park Red Canyon

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Palomino Park Red Canyon community in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Perform general grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA training and report incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and to be on call as needed.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1 refrigerant recycling certification.
• EPA Type 2 refrigerant recycling certification.
• Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
