Maintenance Technician – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures Twin Farms’ historic property remains safe, functional, and beautifully presented for guests and staff. Working independently in a luxury hospitality setting, you will respond to daily maintenance needs, perform preventive work, and support small‑scale construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, equipment, guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and small‑appliance issues.
• Complete light‑duty construction, renovation, repair, and installation projects as assigned.
• Inspect structures and systems to identify repair needs, safety concerns, or maintenance opportunities.
• Read, interpret, and update as‑built drawings for water, gas, electric, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting, soldering, and plumbing repairs within scope of experience and regulations.
• Document findings, run tests, and follow manufacturer specifications.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritizing guest‑sensitive and safety‑critical work.
• Coordinate with contracted tradespeople, vendors, and service providers.
