Maintenance Technician – Lease Up (Sonora)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician (Lease Up) supports the physical condition of Greystar properties, ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This position focuses on preparing vacant units for new residents and responding to resident service requests.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance across the property to reduce future issues.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections and creating punch lists of required maintenance.
• Schedule and coordinate vendors and contractors as needed to address maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical problems and apply appropriate repairs.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and building codes.
• Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, inspections and vendor coordination.
