Maintenance Technician – Launch Property

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the Launch property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite role works Sunday through Thursday with on‑call responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, repairs, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Inspect contractor work to verify compliance with quality standards and scope of work.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in property or building maintenance.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on‑call rotations.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property when needed.

Required skills

• EPA Type I refrigerant recycling certification.
• EPA Type II refrigerant recycling certification.
• Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
