Maintenance Technician

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support shipyard operations by performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment. The role involves working safely in both elevated and confined spaces while collaborating with production and procurement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on shipyard equipment such as telehandlers, forklifts, cherry pickers, manlifts, welding machines, power tools, and compressors.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs completed.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
• Follow all shipyard safety policies, including PPE use, fire prevention, and confined‑space protocols.
• Support training and development of junior technicians and collaborate with welders, fitters, pipefitters, and electricians.
