Maintenance Technician – Garden Property (Orlando)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s Orlando property team. You will be responsible for ensuring the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and maintain paperwork for tracking purposes.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve building defects.
• Familiarity with safety procedures, code compliance and Greystar’s maintenance policies.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and work in various weather conditions.
