Maintenance Technician – Edge Flats

About the role

The Maintenance Technician at Edge Flats ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. You will work on a stabilized mid‑rise property of 170 units, providing prompt service to residents and preparing vacant apartments for new move‑ins.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing them in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
