Maintenance Technician – Easton Place

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the garden‑style apartment community, including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing per policies and codes.
• Execute the make‑ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and reorder as needed.
• Perform grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, cleaning, and painting.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents.
• Inspect contractor work to verify quality and compliance.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) in all weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and on‑call rotation.
• Hold EPA Type 1, Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling and any state/local certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.

• EPA Type 1 certification for refrigerant handling.

• Knowledge of HVAC and refrigerant recycling procedures.
