Maintenance Technician – Chamberlain House

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures the physical aspects of Chamberlain House – a mid‑rise, lease‑up property – are clean, safe, and fully functional. This full‑time, onsite position supports residents, prepares vacant units for new tenants, and maintains common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs according to safety codes.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and final quality checks.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and minor painting tasks.
• Track inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.

Required profile

• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and on‑call rotations.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb independently, 50 lb with assistance, and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• EPA refrigerant certification (Type I, Type II, Universal).
• Valid driver’s license.
