Maintenance Technician – Alta City Side

About the role

This role provides technical and mechanical support for a garden‑style apartment community, ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in accordance with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, repairs and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Perform grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting signage.
• Inspect contractor work to verify quality and compliance with specifications.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including rotating on‑call duties and availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1 refrigerant certification.
• EPA Type 2 refrigerant certification.
• Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• State and local certifications required for service technicians.
