Maintenance Technician – Aliso

About the role

Greystar is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join its Aliso property team. You will be responsible for ensuring that the building, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s high standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation promptly and accurately to ensure proper tracking of service requests.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and painting signage or curbs as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience, preferably in handyman or carpentry roles.
• Familiarity with property‑management software such as Yardi or Happy Property is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
