Maintenance Technician – Ainsworth

About the role

The Maintenance Technician supports the physical aspects of Greystar’s properties, ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, procedures, safety standards and code requirements.
• Perform the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final inspections.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools and equipment, track usage and reorder as needed.
• Document service requests accurately and assist with grounds, common areas and amenity upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing and painting.

Required profile

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays and respond to on‑call requests.
• Valid driver’s license (for golf‑cart operation) and EPA refrigerant certifications as required.

Required skills

• EPA Type I refrigerant certification.
• EPA Type II refrigerant certification.
• Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• General mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
