Maintenance Technician – 201 Marshall Property

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure the physical aspects of the 201 Marshall property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time position works a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule with on‑call duties and offers a 20% housing discount.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds upkeep, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Inspect contractor work to verify compliance with quality and scope specifications.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of property maintenance or related experience.
• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license (required for golf‑cart operation where applicable).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on‑call periods.

Required skills

• EPA refrigerant recycling certification (Type 1, Type II, or Universal).
• Basic mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely.
