Maintenance Supervisor – Vara Sun Valley

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that the interior and exterior of the Vara Sun Valley community, including grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position reports to the Community Manager and works closely with vendors and the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose defects, and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Conduct periodic inspections of service team work and contractor performance, issuing corrective action plans as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager to stay within budget.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property maintenance or a similar facility‑management environment.
• Strong diagnostic abilities to identify and resolve mechanical or structural issues.
• Ability to coordinate vendors, schedule work, and oversee quality of completed tasks.
• Organized approach to inventory control and supply ordering.
