Maintenance Supervisor – The Waters Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of The Waters community, including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality. This full‑time position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of routine upkeep and resident service requests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders generated from resident requests and routine community upkeep.
• Diagnose the source of defects or problems and perform repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists and scheduling vendors or contractors.
• Maintain common areas, grounds and amenities to ensure a safe and attractive environment.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and internal teams to schedule and complete maintenance projects.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory and building code standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or building maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and local building codes.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents and coordinating vendors.
