Maintenance Supervisor – The Highland

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for The Highland property in Los Angeles. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, cleanliness, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs, and final quality checks.
• Track and manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, ensuring timely re‑ordering and proper storage.
• Document all service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts whenever possible and minimizing waste.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in residential or commercial properties.
• Familiarity with Real Page software, Happy Co, Outlook email, and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow safety and compliance standards.
