Junior Construction Scheduler (Owner's Rep)

About the role

CLMI Group is seeking a Junior Construction Scheduler to support the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Facilities Services Division. This entry‑level, on‑site position offers hands‑on experience in owner‑representative construction management for K‑12 capital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Senior and Project Schedulers in reviewing contractor‑generated baseline and monthly schedules using LAUSD templates.
• Create and populate schedule‑related reports in Excel and Primavera P6.
• Develop Earned Value curves following LAUSD EVA guidelines.
• Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for scope and contract compliance.
• Validate logic ties and program codes in P6 master schedules.
• Update master program schedule with as‑built dates and coordinate forecasts with Facilities teams.

Required profile

• At least one year of full‑time professional scheduling experience for an owner or general contractor, preferably on educational or public‑works projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with project teams.
