Maintenance Supervisor – Community Property

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee technical and mechanical work for the Oasis at Woodlands community. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and upkeep of grounds, building exteriors, amenities, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, and assist the Community Manager with budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Conduct monthly preventative maintenance, safety meetings and ensure OSHA, MSDS and other regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience; proven experience in property or building maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• EPA Type I and II or Universal certification for HVAC work, and any state or local certifications required.
• Strong logical problem‑solving ability and proficiency in customer service communication.
• Basic computer skills, including internet, word processing, spreadsheets and database management; property‑management system experience preferred.

• HVAC system testing, refrigerant handling and pressure testing.
• Inventory management of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Valid driver’s license for on‑site vehicle operation.
