Maintenance Supervisor – Ballard Yards

About the role

The Ballard Yards community is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the property’s buildings, grounds, and amenities meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will lead a small team, coordinate vendors, and support resident satisfaction through timely maintenance services.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise up to five maintenance employees and delegate resident work orders.
• Manage outside vendors, follow up on warranties, and schedule contractors for repairs.
• Develop and enforce standards for property cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep.
• Oversee the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, complete preventative maintenance tasks, and assist the Community Manager with budgeting for repairs and capital projects.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive maintenance management experience in multifamily housing.
• Proven ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with effective communication skills.
• Logical problem‑solving ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues.

Required skills

• Hot water heater repair and maintenance.
• Carpentry and basic building repairs.
• Safe use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with property‑management software such as Yardi or One Site.
