Maintenance Supervisor – Alta Davis Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that the Alta Davis community in Durham, NC remains safe, functional, and visually appealing. Reporting to the Community Manager, you will lead technical and mechanical work across the property’s buildings, grounds, and common areas, maintaining Greystar’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and complete resident work orders, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, and final quality checks.
• Develop and uphold cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, amenities, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards, scope, and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while adhering to budget constraints.

Required profile

• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical or building issues.
• Ability to oversee make‑ready operations and coordinate vendors and contractors.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and work‑order tracking.
• Familiarity with safety standards, building codes, and Greystar’s operational procedures.
