Maintenance Reliability Manager

About the role

We are seeking a strategic Maintenance Reliability Manager to lead our Quincy plant toward world‑class reliability. You will be the technical backbone, guiding a multidisciplinary team from reactive repairs to predictive and preventive maintenance excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all functional maintenance areas with a focus on safety, compliance, and productivity.
• Drive equipment availability to 90% and performance efficiency to 95% using RCM, MTBF, and TPM programs.
• Implement and manage predictive maintenance tools such as vibration monitoring, thermography, ultrasound, and oil analysis.
• Manage maintenance budgets, negotiate with vendors, and lead capital equipment replacement analyses.
• Mentor and develop a multi‑disciplinary craft team, ensuring a 99% defect‑free quality rate.
• Leverage SAP and historical data to eliminate constraints and justify high‑impact initiatives.

Required profile

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years experience, or 7+ years equivalent industrial experience.
• Minimum 7 years in a heavy‑industrial environment and 5+ years supervising personnel (union experience a plus).
• Strong proficiency in SAP (preferred) and deep knowledge of reliability engineering concepts (OEE, WCAM, TPM).
• Ability to split time between office (60%) and plant floor (40%) and lift up to 50 lb.
