Maintenance Manager

About the role

Dura-Line, an Orbia Connectivity Solutions business, is hiring a Maintenance Manager in Salt Lake City, Utah. The manager leads maintenance operations across the site, keeps manufacturing facilities fully operational and develops the next generation of maintenance leaders. The role requires strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities

• Manage equipment installs and commissioning
• Run the preventive maintenance program with standardized procedures and site-critical spare parts management via an equipment condition assessment program
• Conduct equipment FMEAs and root cause failure analysis (RCFA) investigations as required
• Implement and manage the site CMMS in line with company expectations
• Manage and train department team members to establish, implement and maintain programs
• Oversee daily maintenance functions such as project planning, preventive maintenance, breakdowns and repairs, and coordinate electrical, machining and tooling requirements
• Select and develop local vendors and partner with other plant departments to keep equipment running safely and efficiently
• Review maintenance KPIs: safety, site startup timeline and spend, departmental spend, uptime, and PM adoption metrics by site

Required profile

• HS diploma or equivalent; engineering BA/BS degree desired (mechanical or electrical engineering preferred)
• 5+ years of work experience
• Extensive experience with formal preventive maintenance programs, including work orders and metrics dashboards; predictive maintenance and autonomous care programs are a plus
• Experience using CMMS platforms for work orders, asset documentation and maintenance performance analysis
• Knowledge of local and national facilities and regulatory requirements
• Able to stand for 8-12 hours, lift 50 pounds, work in noisy conditions and wear PPE in production and warehouse areas

• Compensation typically ranging from $98,000 to $181,500 per year, depending on experience, location and internal equity
