Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Maintenance Manager at the Riverside Lid Plant is responsible for driving equipment reliability, facility maintenance, and capital‑expenditure execution in a high‑speed manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive problem‑solving approach and thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all CAPEX activities, including budgeting, deployment, tracking, and compliance with technical and financial policies.
• Lead facility initiatives to reduce energy, fluid, and wastewater costs.
• Develop and support automation strategies for the plant and assist electricians and operating departments.
• Oversee federally regulated wastewater systems to ensure legislative compliance.
• Direct building maintenance, security services, and inventory management of spare parts.
• Set and manage energy and fluid commodity budgets and targets.
• Accountable for maintenance KPIs, equipment uptime, and execution of short‑ and long‑term maintenance plans.
• Coach, develop, and manage performance of hourly and salaried operations team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of lid manufacturing processes (preferred).
• Proven ability to develop a diverse workforce for future opportunities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, business acumen, financial and technical problem‑solving skills.
