Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Manager to lead the upkeep of our warehouse facilities. The role combines leadership with direct involvement in maintenance tasks to ensure efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety and building codes through regular inspections.
• Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs for material handling equipment (MHE).
• Plan, coordinate and execute repair and installation activities, including conveyors, scanners, RF devices, motors and controls.
• Inspect and maintain electrical and hydraulic systems of the building.
• Manage ancillary services such as cleaning, waste disposal and parking.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records and reports.
• Oversee procurement of maintenance supplies, equipment parts and services.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Monitor utility consumption and drive energy‑saving initiatives.
• Supervise maintenance personnel, handling performance, training and welfare.
• Organise security and general administrative services for the facility.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or facility maintenance leadership, including fleet management.
• Proficient PC skills with MS Office and other computer applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication, diplomacy and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to multitask, work independently or within a team, and meet deadlines.
• Analytical, reporting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
