About the role

The State of Connecticut Department of Developmental Services is seeking a full‑time Maintainer to support the Southbury Training School campus. This position works a regular first‑shift schedule, Monday through Friday, providing essential building and grounds maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and grounds.
• Ensure safety and compliance with state regulations.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
• Maintain records of work performed and supplies used.
