Machine Operator – Weekend Days

About the role

We are seeking a Machine Operator to work weekend days (Friday‑Sunday, 6 am‑6 pm) at Ichor Systems. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will run CNC equipment, monitor production quality, and ensure safe, efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Start and monitor machine cycles, detect malfunctions or out‑of‑tolerance machining, and adjust controls as needed.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to set up parts and determine tolerances.
• Select, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and accessories on mills, lathes, and Swiss CNC machines.
• Enter and verify tool offsets, install correct tooling per the tooling list.
• Measure finished workpieces using calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers and verify conformance to specifications.
• Report process issues to the supervisor and complete required paperwork and computer entries.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2‑year machining degree preferred.
• 1+ year manufacturing experience; 3‑4 years preferred.
• Experience with vertical/horizontal mills, lathes or Swiss CNC machinery.
• Ability to perform non‑complex adjustments and troubleshoot equipment.

• Basic CMM operation, GD&T, SPC
• Blueprint and drawing interpretation
• Troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments
