Machine Operator – PM Shift (12‑hr)

About the role

Join Nestlé’s bakery production team in Medford, operating equipment on a 12‑hour PM shift. You will help ensure steady ingredient and product flow while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain steady ingredient, dough, crust, pan, and product flow to prevent production interruptions.
• Operate and monitor bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, presses, conveyors and extruder depositors.
• Identify, troubleshoot and communicate equipment, process, safety or quality concerns.
• Support sanitation, changeovers, shutdowns and overall department readiness.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; basic reading, writing, math and computer skills.
• Ability to complete on‑the‑job safety, equipment and forklift training.
• Strong safety mindset, mechanical aptitude and attention to product quality.
• Capability to work 12‑hour PM shifts on a 2‑2‑3 rotating schedule.

Required skills

• Operation of panelviews, mixers, conveyors, oilers, depositor systems, ovens, proofers, depanners, scales and forklifts.
• Accurate recordkeeping of batch data, lot numbers, downtime and equipment checks.
• Effective communication with bakery, maintenance, quality and supervisory teams.
