Machine Operator

About the role

The Machine Operator works on the 2nd shift to run blow‑mold, PET, and injection molding equipment, as well as grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. The role ensures continuous production of quality bottles while following Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate blow‑mold, PET, and injection molding machines (wheel, reciprocating, or shuttle types) to meet production targets.
• Perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshooting on machines and support equipment.
• Conduct bottle inspections, drop tests, audits, and quality checks throughout production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter‑free work area and adhere to PPE and safety policies.
• Monitor and replenish packaging material supplies as needed.
• Document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies, and maintenance requests.
• Escalate any bottle abnormalities, defects, or quality issues immediately.
• Assist Lead Operator or Supervisor with unusual problems and follow sound professional judgment.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including overtime when required.

Required profile

• Ability to work an 8‑hour 2nd‑shift schedule and follow GMP and safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to punctuality.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.
