Machine Learning Engineer II

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer II to design, build, and ship ML systems that improve Tinder’s product experience and drive measurable business impact. In this individual‑contributor role you will partner with product, engineering, data, and platform teams to turn product opportunities into robust machine‑learning solutions and move models from research to production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and iterate on machine‑learning models for core domains such as recommendations, trust & safety, profile ranking, chat, growth and revenue optimization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to define problem statements, design experiments, and evaluate model performance.
• Implement end‑to‑end pipelines that take models from development through testing, deployment and monitoring in production.
• Contribute to algorithmic innovation and stay current with state‑of‑the‑art techniques.
• Document solutions and share knowledge across the ML organization.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in machine learning and software engineering.
• Experience translating product requirements into scalable ML solutions.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
