LPN / Medical Assistant – Pediatrics (Full‑Time Days)

About the role

The pediatric team at Kingman Regional Medical Center provides comprehensive primary care for children ages 0‑18 in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This full‑time, day‑shift position supports physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in delivering excellent patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Work under provider direction to deliver nursing care (LPN) or assist with patient intake, vitals, and exam preparation (MA).
• Triaging patients by phone or in person, implementing physician orders, and maintaining clinical communication.
• Perform CLIA‑waived lab tests, obtain specimens, run proficiency testing, and may perform venipuncture.
• Assist with scheduling, confirming appointments, and handling patient payments.

Required profile

• LPN: Graduate of a practical nursing program, current Arizona LPN license, BLS certification.
• MA: High school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, DPS Level 1 fingerprint clearance card, and completion of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent certification (CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, CMAC).
• Both: Ability to lift 50 lb, work above/below shoulder level, and stand/walk 90 % of the day.
