Long Term Substitute - Montessori Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a long‑term substitute Montessori teacher to deliver effective classroom instruction when the regular teacher is absent, ensuring continuity of learning and a safe, respectful environment for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom instruction following the assigned teacher’s lesson plans and routines.
• Maintain a structured, safe, and respectful classroom environment.
• Manage student behavior in line with school policies.
• Monitor student well‑being and promptly report injuries, illnesses, or behavioral concerns.
• Adapt to various grade levels, subjects, and classroom settings as needed.
• Perform additional duties assigned by school leadership to support overall operations.

Required profile

• High school graduate; advanced education preferred.
• Previous early‑childhood teaching experience desired.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform typical physical tasks of classroom support.
