Logistics Specialist – Small Parcel & Last‑Mile Operations

About the role

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a Logistics Specialist to optimise small‑parcel and last‑mile operations. The role focuses on weekly cost analysis of carriers such as UPS and FedEx, billing, invoicing and providing data‑driven recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce transportation spend.

Key responsibilities

• Animate and visualise small‑parcel vendor cost reporting to support business decisions.
• Own and manage relationships with last‑mile vendors, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Develop and present data‑driven insights for process changes and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with transportation, supply‑chain, warehouse, procurement and customs teams on cost‑related projects.
• Audit, code and submit transportation invoices for payment, following up with Accounts Payable.
• Work with logistics and finance to streamline invoicing, payment and reconciliation processes.
• Challenge vendor invoicing and identify proactive cost‑saving measures.
• Maintain documentation of processes, reports and vendor interactions.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for sustainability initiatives, measuring environmental impacts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain or operations.
• Prior experience in the luxury goods sector is highly desirable.
• Fluency in French is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, complex formulas).
• Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to import, format and manipulate large data sets.
• Experience with SAP systems (preferred).

What we offer

• Salary range USD 80,000 – 85,000 per year.
