About the role
R+L Carriers is looking for a highly organized, detail‑oriented Linehaul Dispatcher to join its Baltimore Service Center. The role involves coordinating driver and freight handler activities, ensuring safe and efficient movement of LTL loads.
Key responsibilities
- Manage drivers and freight handlers, including scheduling and dock operations.
- Ensure safety compliance and adherence to quality freight‑handling procedures.
- Dispatch LTL loads in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.
Required profile
- Proven basic leadership experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organizational, communication and logistical problem‑solving abilities.
- Familiarity with the Baltimore area and surrounding regions.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
