Line Cook – Austin Restaurant

About the role

Hai Hospitality is looking for a motivated Line Cook to join the kitchen team at Uchiba in Austin. You will play a vital part in delivering high‑quality dishes and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and plate menu items according to recipe standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, grills, and knives.
• Lift, carry, and stock trays, dishes, and inventory up to 50 lb.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure proper storage of supplies.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assist with reconfiguring seating areas by moving tables and chairs when needed.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication with guests, coworkers, and leadership.
• Willingness to work in hot, cold, and allergen‑rich conditions.
• Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
• Capability to detect safety issues and follow safety protocols.
