About the role

Babel, a multinational technology consultancy, is looking for a Project Leader to support financial‑IT initiatives. The role will work closely with operational finance teams, control desks and audit functions to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update daily task progress, ensuring the team meets established deadlines.
• Supervise User Acceptance Testing (UAT) outside regular market hours, including weekends and nights.
• Control project budgets, manage vendor relationships and handle approval workflows.
• Prepare clear status reports and facilitate project meetings.
• Identify risks early and propose corrective actions to senior management.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in financial operations, control desks, audit or financial‑IT support.
• Background in finance, actuarial science, economics, industrial engineering or systems with a business‑process focus.
• Preferred exposure to banking or brokerage environments.
• Resilience and ability to work under fixed delivery dates.

Required skills

• Project‑management tools: Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Project.
• Office suite: Excel (intermediate/advanced), PowerPoint.
• Collaboration platforms: Slack, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Google Workspace.
• Diagramming tools: Visio, Lucidchart, Miro.
• Basic knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and traditional Waterfall/PMBOK methodologies.
