Licensed Practical Nurse – Skilled Nursing Facility (Gracewood Campus)

About the role

The State of Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at the Gracewood Campus Skilled Nursing Facility. This position offers the chance to provide direct patient care in a supportive environment while contributing to the health of Georgia’s citizens.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general direct nursing care to injured, ill, convalescent, or disabled individuals.
• Administer medical treatments, including medication administration and injections.
• Monitor patient conditions and document care activities.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team under general supervision.

Required profile

• High School diploma/GED and completion of an approved LPN program, or a Vocational/Technical degree with a current Georgia LPN license.
• At least six months of nursing experience, or one year of experience at the lower‑level Licensed Practical Nurse 1 position (or equivalent).
• Compliance with required evaluations, drug screening, TB testing, and annual influenza vaccination.
