Licensed Practical Nurse – Internal Medicine Clinic (Grove)

About the role

Provides direct patient care, including IV therapy, for assigned patients under the direction of a registered nurse. Works with ancillary nursing staff and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, personalized care.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in patient care through data gathering, planning and evaluation.
• Provides care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and related criteria appropriate to patient ages.
• Communicates professionally with patients, families and co‑workers to ensure a quality experience.
• Adapts positively to rapid changes in unit or department needs.
• Manages personal professional development and maintains required clinical knowledge, technical skills, training and credentials.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Required profile

• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with good judgement.
• Strong interpersonal and delegation abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Capability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: IV therapy credentials.
