Licensed Architect – Residential

About the role

Cambrian, a technology‑driven residential developer, is seeking a California‑licensed architect to join its Los Angeles team full‑time. You will work closely with software engineers building architectural support tools and take professional responsibility for residential permit sets, interacting directly with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS).

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and review architectural drawing sets for residential projects.
• Prepare, sign, and stamp documents under the architect’s responsible control.
• Respond to LADBS plan‑check comments and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, Title 24, and other consultants.

Required profile

• Active California architect license.
• Working knowledge of California residential building codes.
• Ability to produce and review construction documents.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the Marina Del Rey office.
