Leasing Professional – Uptown La Grange

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for the Uptown La Grange community, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention. This role involves full‑cycle leasing activities and ensuring a high‑quality resident experience from prospecting through lease renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to meet revenue and occupancy goals, including greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, credit and background checks, preparing lease packages, and ensuring smooth move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before resident move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing using platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic and leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Ensure show units meet company standards through daily inspections.
