Leasing Professional – Tigard, OR

About the role

The Leasing Professional is responsible for coordinating marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. This full‑time position works directly with prospects, new residents, and existing tenants to ensure a smooth leasing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing activities such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections, merchandising, and coordination with maintenance.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction and secure lease renewals.

Required profile

• All state and local licensing or certification required for leasing professionals.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance), and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software such as OneSite and Yardi.
• Experience using online marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns.
