Leasing Professional – The Flats at West Alabama

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal efforts for The Flats at West Alabama. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through proactive leasing activities and community outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before resident move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via Craigslist, Facebook, email and other platforms.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, and manage prospect data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards and ensure community presentation aligns with company quality guidelines.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in residential leasing and sales.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to qualify and engage prospects.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics and competitor activity.
• Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies that drive traffic.
• Detail‑oriented approach to unit inspections and move‑in coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using online marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook, and email platforms.
