Leasing Professional – Solara Vista

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Solara Vista community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure apartments are move‑in ready.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral programs and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards by daily inspections, merchandising, and coordinating upkeep with the maintenance team.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents via email, phone, and thank‑you notes to secure lease decisions and renewals.
• Prepare renewal letters, meet with residents before move‑out dates, and ensure timely execution of renewal documents.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, documenting and escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• All state and local licenses or certifications required for leasing activities.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) in all weather conditions.
