Leasing Professional – Sandbar

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing and renewal strategies for a 210‑unit garden‑style community. The role focuses on achieving occupancy targets, revenue goals and resident retention through proactive leasing activities and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential leasing or property management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating weekends.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Experience using property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
