Leasing Professional – Rochester, MI

About the role

The Leasing Professional is responsible for coordinating marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals at a Greystar community in Rochester, Michigan.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any maintenance needed.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to drive traffic, using tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email.
• Maintain show units and common areas to Greystar’s quality standards, communicating upkeep needs to maintenance staff.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents via email, calls, or cards to ensure satisfaction and secure lease signings.
• Support the lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters, contacting residents early, and ensuring timely execution of renewal documents.

Required profile

• All state and local licenses and certifications required for leasing activities.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
