Leasing Professional – Lookout Pointe

About the role

This position coordinates the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals. The Leasing Professional greets prospects, conducts tours, processes applications, and ensures smooth move‑ins and lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including qualifying prospects, showing apartments, processing applications, credit and background checks, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any maintenance needed.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, using resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Maintain accurate data in property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi), tracking availability, traffic, and resident demographics.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, or thank‑you notes to secure leases and renewals.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns, taking action or escalating as needed.

Required profile

• All state and local licenses/certifications required for leasing.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays for on‑call duties.
