Leasing Professional – La Vue at Emerald Pointe

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to drive occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction for La Vue at Emerald Pointe, a 364‑unit garden‑style community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while supporting resident retention.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any maintenance issues, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Experience in leasing, property management or a related customer‑facing role.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to qualify prospects and close leases.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics and competitor offerings.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease documentation and unit inspections.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite or Yardi property management systems.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook and email campaigns.
• Ability to conduct credit screening and background checks.
