Leasing Professional – Garden‑Style Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will lead marketing, leasing and renewal activities for The Hadley, a 444‑unit garden‑style community. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident retention through proactive prospect engagement, lease processing and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to meet occupancy and revenue goals, including greeting prospects, qualifying leads, conducting tours, showing apartments, processing applications, credit and background checks, preparing lease packages and facilitating smooth move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before resident move‑in, confirm readiness and coordinate any outstanding work with the maintenance team.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and implement marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising using platforms like Craigslist, Facebook and email.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leasing or sales within residential real‑estate.
• Ability to achieve occupancy, revenue and resident‑retention targets.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and effective communication with prospects and residents.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease documentation and move‑in inspections.
