Leasing Professional – Garden-Style Community

About the role

This position coordinates the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals. The Leasing Professional guides prospects through tours, applications, and lease signing while ensuring resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, credit screening, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral programs and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show units and common areas to Greystar standards and prepare the leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, phone, or cards to secure lease signings and renewals.
• Prepare lease renewal letters, meet with renewing residents, and ensure timely execution of renewal documents.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, addressing concerns or routing them to the appropriate team.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and on‑call duties.
• All required state and local licensing or certifications for leasing activities.
