Leasing Professional – Garden Community (246 Units)

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for a stabilized garden‑style community of 246 units. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospecting and tours to lease signing and move‑in, while ensuring resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any necessary maintenance, and ensure units are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and retain residents.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease documentation and apartment readiness.
• Ability to work flexible Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
